it is best to have a day cream with sun protection built right in, and tehy are easy to find these days!!





put your sun protectant on first! this will work best because itll be directly next to the skin, and it will bonus as a base for the rest of your makeup!


all other makeup is fine to pile on!


if you dont like wearing a sun protectant, day cream, AND foundation, you could apply a day cream first, then apply a TINTED SUN PROTECTANT. it works as a foundation AND a sunscreen!

Sun protection is supposed to protect the base of your skin from UV damage. Hence, you should wear it after your day cream but BEFORE your makeup. The sun screen hence, forms the first penetrable base (besides your makeup). The Clinique sun block I use doubles up as a makeup primer (base) for smoother application of my makeup!
i read a book that sunscreen should be the last thing you apply so i suggest to buy a powder with spf at least 15. if you don't wear makeup you can use a moisturizer with spf or use a moisturizer then put the sunscreen make sure it's oil free and it's uva %26amp; ubv and on the ingridient list it should have titanium dioxide for extra sun protection .hope i helped =)
I use the Olay day cream with an SPF 30 so I don't have to worry about which goes first ( it also happens to be cheaper than most other brands which is a big plus)


I was taught to wait ten minutes between applying moisturizer and primer then an additional five before applying makeup.
Before so that your protecting the actual skin, not make up. :)
