If I run everyday or every other day is it okay to eat cake and ice cream stuff like that?

I run about 3 miles a day so is it okay to eat cake and stuff like that.If I run everyday or every other day is it okay to eat cake and ice cream stuff like that?
Eat what you want, but make sure you are getting nutritious food as well. When I used to run, I found that when I would eat a lot of junk I could ';feel'; it on the next day's run. A piece of cake or an occasional pint of Ben and Jerry's didn't put me over the edge. Don't become calorie obsessed! if you must, make sure you eat twice as many fruits and veggies
Its OK to have your ice cream as long as you don't ignore your body's other basic nutrients.

Why fill your body with garbage? Once in a while, cake and icecream, in moderation, but eat healthy to keep your body in good shape. Running means nothing if you are not feeding your body right.
it's okay no matter what! you mean, will you gain weight? idk...depends on calories burned and calories put in...but, for real...eat cake...if you are exercising, you should be fine, just don't pig out!
yup, just eat it in moderation. As long as you pay attention to portions, you can eat whatever you want (though it's best to get most of your calories from healthy food).

yeah, just in moderation. i'm in the military so we exercise everyday. when i eat junk food, i always look at the nutritional value. i calculate about how many calories i've eaten. i then go to the gym after work and use the eliptical machine, treadmill, or bike and i burn off at least all those calories. i say at least cause i don't wanna think that i go to the gym and don't get fit, i'd like to be a little toned. running is probably the best for you... swimming too. swimming is really awesome, cause you don't get impact. meaning that you won't hurt your knees or ankles. all the workout, and none of the pain.
You can eat whatever you want to, hun. It's not the BEST stuff out there for you, but on occasion, everybody loves junk food! Just be sure to include some healthy stuff in your diet too. :D Have your cake, and eat it too!
