What is the diffrince between a night and day face cream?

is it just the spf? What is the diffrince between a night and day face cream?
Most skin experts would agree that for the most part, day and night creams may be used interchangeably. The exception to this would be if your day cream contained sun protection. Though it wouldn鈥檛 be harmful, there would be no point in applying a day formulation with SPF to your face at night.

Some formulations designed for night time use may also contain more emollient, hydrating and moisturizing ingredients such as oils. Though beneficial for helping to heal the skin鈥檚 protective barrier and replenishing lipids (fats), these formulations will be fine at night, when you鈥檒l be the only witness. But they may appear greasy if applied during the day.

As well, certain preparations may contain active ingredients such as retinoids or alpha hydroxy acids. Effective exfoliants, these ingredients can increase your skin鈥檚 sensitivity to sunlight. Although not strictly designed for night formulations, you may wish to reserve them for night time use when there may be less likelihood of them irritating your skin.

If you want just one cream that can be used both day and night, then opt for a non-SPF light weight lotion that can be applied with your sunscreen during the day and without at night. Of course, if you suffer with dry skin, you may wish to use a heavier, more hydrating formulation at night, when your skin will benefit from the ingredients without anyone being privy to the secrets of your beauty routine. What is the diffrince between a night and day face cream?
Night creams, or moisturizers, tend to be more nourishing. Either they are more moisturizing for women with dryer skin or with aging skin, or they contain certain ingredients to fight off certain issues such as acne or wrinkles. in a day moisturizer, the formulation tends to be a little bit lighter because we are out in the world and encountered with various pollutants. Also, the skin doesn't do as much damage control during the day. Of course there is the whole SPF thing as well.
You will notice night cream is thicker than day cream. It's because there is extra nutrients in it that are given time to dissolve in whilst you're sleeping and not wearing makeup. Also yep, day cream tends to have SPF in it that isn't needed at night. But the main difference is the extra nutrients.
i'm not sure but one's for night and one's for day

maybe they have different ingredients in it so it is different for your skin for that part of the day

if that's what you mean by face cream (moisturizer ) then i guess that's why if not sure
a night creme is richer so works best while you sleep as it also has products in it that work through the night to hydrate the skin. I don't think you need to think about a night creme until you are about 30
