now i'm the first person to say that i'd love hearing green day blasting through the streets from an ice cream truck, but that's a bit crazy- and never going to happen.

Well, that would be cool if the ice cream man in my neighborhood started doing that. Instead, he plays Christmas music, which is really odd to hear in the summer.
No, because sometimes the songs are explicit and little kids are usually the ones getting ice cream. But if it's Green Day or Miley Cyrus, then Green Day it is!
I have a vision of all our children buying ice cream as the truck plays Working Class Hero by Green Day over and over. The kids will overthrow the bourgeoise and the corrupt people will start selling ice cream.
