Im using the monistat 7 cream and im on the 4th day of getting rid of it n i had sex can he get it?

I didnt use a condom . we only had sex 1 time. and it was only for 5 minutes.Im using the monistat 7 cream and im on the 4th day of getting rid of it n i had sex can he get it?
The Doctor told me, no sex until treatment is finished, treat both partners, and do not have sex during 7 day treatment even with condom on, it irrates, even if you feel better. best to be safe than sorry.

is he circumsized? if not.........then he needs to be treated with 3-7 day monostat as well. keep up the treatment, and eat yogurt, and avoid sweets, coffee and sugars, this is what makes yeast grow in us. Among other things.

Wear cotton panites, and toss all strech jeans.

wear loose comfy jeans, cotton.

and good luck!Im using the monistat 7 cream and im on the 4th day of getting rid of it n i had sex can he get it?
The jury is out on this. I SWEAR I got repeat infections while I was with my last boyfriend for 4 years! If you don't suffer from infections frequently, your immune system can fight off a bit of yeast if you are exposed to it. If you use antibiotics, are on the pill, etc. you are setting up a environment that will welcome yeast infections. That's when you need to worry about your bf transmitting it back to you.

If this does happen, you bf can be treated with 1 pill one time. It's called Diflucin and is a prescription. It pretty much wipes out yeast throughout the body so he doesn't reinfect you.

Don't worry! If you quickly get it again take a look at OTHER habits that allows your body to succumb to yeast exposure. Normal, healthy bodies will fight it off. Your body is compromised in some way if you can't (antibiotic use, stress, using the pill, pregnancy and more).

***FYI--next time you're faced with this, call you doctor and ask her to call in a prescription for Diflucin for you. It's one pill that you take 1 time and it really kicks the infection. Creams are so gross and don't work as well!
he could get a yeast infection if the monostat wasn't finished yet, yes men can get them too. wait until the medication and the yeast infection is gone before u decide to have sex or u may end up passing it back and forth. all it takes is one unprotected time.
