The one day is the most comfortable and least messy. With the 3 and 7 day treatments you'll apply an applicator full of medicated creme each night for the designated number of nights. The one day creme will drip out a little so use a liner for a couple of days. try the one day if it doesn't work go get a longer treatment, when medicine is concerned i say as little as it takes to get the job done
