How disappointed would you be if you opened up your ice cream on a hot day and it was freezer burned?

After a good meal I really wanted some.How disappointed would you be if you opened up your ice cream on a hot day and it was freezer burned?

Lol, you know that was the first time I've ever heard of such a thing (never had it happen to me before) so I had to look it up. I feel enlightened now.





If only part of the ice cream was burned then I would scoop out the bad part and eat the rest, if the whole thing was a do-over then I'd go and buy some more, I wouldn't be disappointed because one way or another I'd get my ice cream, even if I had to wait for it ;)
That happened to me before. This one old boy, he told me to get in the freezer, because there was a carnival in there. But there was no carnival ...it was just a damn freezer! I got freezer burn ...and I got mushed up against a chicken.
very.... however.. i would make the most of it.


I would add some rolled oats (raw, of course) some chocolate sauce, and maybe a few maraschino cherries halves..


It would defiantly improve the flavor of the burn.. LOL
That's a bummer. If it's just crystallized i'll eat it but if it's rubbery like old ice cream I throw it out. Listen for the ice cream truck.
I would just wait until the ice cream man came by.......He sells fresh soft serve from a machine and ice cream sundaes,smoothies,nachos.....it's the best and hugest ice cream truck ever.
That happened to me two weeks ago. I had to throw it out and settle on fruit for dessert.
